Sonus faber concertino domus6/12/2023 I would rather use a Xover that is highly regarded by enthusiast like the 2.5. Alternatively, I just replace the tranducers and use the original SF Concerto 1st order Xover for the 8513/8545 but not sure how it sound. So I thought if I replace it with 8545 with the SF bookshelf cabinet, hopefully it could work with the ProAc 2.5 sound. The 2.5 uses 8535 for the floorstanding cabinet. Similarly the chosen woofer 8545 will also fit it but I have to cut the baffle circumference at two parallel sides as per the original woofer configuration. The tweeter 8513 has the same dimension as the original Seas and will fit in nicely into the cutout and flushed. Yes I am using the same SF Concerto 15 litres cabinet. I would like to know how to address you as you are kind to respond to my inquiries. I have the Xover schematics but I don't know how to attach to this message. I appreciate there are many variations of the 2.5 clone and I am looking at the Clio version 6 for the woofer and Jarc's design for the tweeter. I ask if anyone has experienced using ProAc 2.5 clone design on a bookshelf speaker as I am inclined to re-voice my SF using the said 2.5 clone or accept alternative suitable replacement tweeter/woofer using my preferred Scanspeak woofer 8545 and tweeter 8513. I am just a hobbbyist and not technically versed in audio engineering but I am willing to try DIY. Xovers parts are covered with hardened tar and I don't have testing tools and don't how to test the values of the so-called LCR. No markings on tweeter/woofer to show make, but I researched and found tweeter as 19TFFI (Seas) and woofer custom made 18S Scanspeak. Crossover stated to be 1st Order low 2.2kHz. I own a bookshelf Sonus Faber Concerto circa 1999 edition - specifications 12.5" x 9.5" x 15.5" - ported - volume 15 litres - 40 Hz-20kHz 88 db / 6 ohms - power 200 watts. I am just few days as member and would say "Hello & Greetings" to all forum members.
